Agriculture Vendors
We’re expanding our Agricultural Display to emphasize the importance, diversity, and depth of our local farming community. Your expertise and contributions are vital to the success of this celebration.
We are eager to involve 4H members and future farmers by offering opportunities for animal and farm project exhibitions, thereby fostering youth participation and education. 4H and FFA have consistently been at the forefront of nurturing young agricultural talent, and their involvement will significantly enrich the event.
We invite vendors to join our farm market, providing a platform to sell fresh produce and ag-reserve products. This market promises to be a lively hub where visitors can purchase farm goods and learn about sustainable farming practices.
To further support the agricultural community, we are offering complimentary informational and display booths to Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) initiatives, farm animal rescues, and non-vendor agritourism and farm-based businesses. These booths offer a fantastic chance to share your insights, promote your endeavors, and connect with the local community.
We are hoping to expand the display of the various types of farm machinery used to farm the Ag Reserve to educate both about the equipment itself and road safety. Volunteers will be on-site to oversee the safety of the machinery and the public.
We started a ticketed prize wheel last year as a both a fundraiser for WUMCO Help Inc and also as a way to promote area farms. It had tremendous success last year and, after some tweaks, we are confident, with your help, we can exponentially beat last year’s donation. We are welcoming donations of farm goods, gift certificates, etc to put as prizes. Participants purchase tickets to spin the wheel. Some spots will be empty, most will be a smaller prize, a few will be a higher-value prize, and a couple spots will put them in the drawing for a grand prize basket. Donations are tax-deductible and your farm logo will appear on the spin wheel and on our sponsorship “thank you” banner. Donations last year varied from boxes of produce, eggs, flower bouquets, honey, csa shares, bottles of wine, farm swag, etc.
Your participation will not only highlight your work but also educate and inspire our community about the indispensable role of agriculture. We eagerly look forward to collaborating with you to make this event a tremendous success!
