Jumptown is a Loudoun County-based Virginia dance band specializing in classic funk, contemporary Blues, R&B, and Soul music.
Featuring vocals, guitar, bass, drums, sax, trumpet, trombone and keyboards (including a vintage Leslie tone cabinet with rotating speakers), this horn-powered ensemble delivers high-energy performances that keep their audiences on their feet.
Influences include Chicago, Earth Wind & Fire, Tower Of Power, Ray Charles, B.B. King, Delbert McClinton, Van Morrison, The Temptations, and many of the great STAX artists of the 1960's.
